We believe that a call to living generously, including financial giving, is central to our Christian faith.
Jesus talked a lot about giving in the Bible and He encouraged us to do it generously.
- Matthew 10:8b: “Freely you have received; freely give”
- Luke 6:38: “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full”
- Matthew 6:1-4: Jesus says to give to the poor secretly so that the giver will receive honour from God instead of other people

Luke 12:34 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”
Paul also talked about giving in the New Testament:
2 Corinthians 9:7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
The following are ways in which you can give financially to the work of Christ Church Pennington:
- Using your credit or debit card securely through Stripe, or through your Bank:
- In church we have an offering plate as you walk into the worship centre, we also have a contactless card machine in the foyer.
